ITIDA Organizes Startup Clinic

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), represented by Sector B5, is organizing “Startup Clinic - Hardware Startups: The Journey”, online, on June 13, in partnership with Flat6Labs Cairo, the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and ITIDA.

The Startup Clinic program aims at providing experience exchange services in technical, legal and business support for hardware startups in Egypt. It includes panel discussions and fireside chats with experts from various backgrounds in diverse related fields. The program also helps match registered hardware startups with technical mentors and consultants based on each startup's needs, to help them tackle their challenges. It discusses various journeys of hardware startups in Egypt, the opportunities they had, the challenges they encountered and how they faced them, as well as other relevant topics.

The program features a panel of speakers with backgrounds in different IT areas, including the Internet of Things (IoT), digital fabrication and robotics, as well as ridesharing services.

Sector B5 is part of ITIDA Egypt Makes Electronics (EME) initiative. Its mandate is to support the growth of the hardware community in Egypt, as well as providing it with all the required tools and machines, with the aim to promote innovation in Egypt.
