The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IBM Egypt to empower more than 1,000 Egyptian students with Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills.
The MoU was signed by the Advisor to the ICT Minister for AI Golestan Radwan, and IBM Egypt- Country General Manager Wael Abdoush.
The MoU aims to develop the capabilities and skills of Egyptian students from the faculties of computer science and computer engineering in the field of IT and AI to support economic development and implement the national strategy for AI. The training is part of IBM Skills Academy program.
The cooperation comes as a continuation of cooperation between MCIT and IBM, aiming to empower young people with the latest digital skills, thus competing in the global IT labor market.
