The Central Department for Community Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) organized a training program for developing soft skills, on January 26- February 2, in Beni Suef Technology Park. The program was organized in collaboration with Microsoft and Care Egypt Foundation (CEF), through Silicon Waha company.
Level one of the training program was joined by 23 students at the Faculty of Engineering.
The program comes within the framework of “Activating the role of telecentres in community development” project and Tawar w Ghayar (Develop and Change) initiative, and as part of the ongoing cooperation between MCIT and Silicon Waha.
The project reflects the keenness of the Central Department for Community Development to contribute to qualifying the segments of society in different ICT areas, and empowering them to achieve the digital transformation, within the framework of Digital Egypt vision.
The program was implemented based on a comprehensive model, incorporating training, qualification, capacity building and employment, through the activities of Tawar w Ghayar initiative. The aim is to provide real opportunities to help achieve the goals of trainees and help them understand the job market through providing career guidance and counseling services and helping young people plan for their careers.
The program is organized in Borg Al Arab, New Assiut, Beni Suef and Saddat Technology Parks. The program targets helping local ICT companies access new markets and boost their exports of technology products and services.
