Egypt IoT & AI Challenge 2021 Kicks Off


The fifth edition of Egypt Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Challenge has officially kicked off, organized by Borg Al Arab Innovation Cluster.
 
The Challenge is sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), represented by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and local and international partners, including the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), Nile University, Google, Vodafone and others.
 
Egypt IoT & AI Challenge is a capacity-building and pre-incubation program, targeting high school and senior university students nationwide, and startups, who have innovative ideas in IoT, AI and relevant fields. The Challenge helps students and startups turn their ideas into successful projects, through creating an enabling environment for innovation and creativity.
 
The Challenge aims to help build an innovation-based economy in Egypt, through promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in IoT and AI, and their applications.
 
Egypt IoT & AI Challenge is part of the Arab IoT & AI Challenge, where local challenges take place in different Arab countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
