Egypt, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is participating in the virtual expert meeting held on February 22, between Egyptian and South Sudanese ICT experts. The meeting will discuss the requirements and needs of the Sudanese side, whether in terms of infrastructure, equipment or specialized training.

This is a preparatory meeting for the meeting planned to take place between the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and the South Sudanese Minister of Information Michael Makuei.

The meeting aims to enhance cooperation with African countries in a way that serves Egypt’s interests and strengthens its presence in the African continent, especially within the framework of Egypt’s strategy towards Africa.
