ITIDA Partakes in Techne Drifts 2021


The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) participated as a sponsor in Techne Drifts, organized from February 28 to April 10.
 
Techne Drifts is a series of one-day events, organized in Delta, Canal and Upper Egypt governorates, with the aim to empower entrepreneurs in the startup community, present their success stories, and discuss the challenges and obstacles they face and how to overcome them.
 
Techne Drifts closing ceremony was held on April 10, in Cairo. During the ceremony, the grand final startup pitch was organized, where the top startups from each governorate competed to win EGP 100,000. The ceremony featured ITIDA CEO Amr Mahfouz; he participated in a panel discussion with the attendees, and moderated a roundtable on boosting business in the healthcare field.
 
ITIDA activities during the closing ceremony included organizing an exhibition for 10 startups to showcase their work, as part of the support provided by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and ITIDA to entrepreneurs.
 
Moreover, ITIDA participated in a session titled “How e-commerce is unifying trade and brand marketing,” where it discussed the significance of having a marketing identity and how to enhance it within e-commerce mechanisms. ITIDA also participated in a panel discussion on boosting business in healthcare, sponsored by Roche.
 
During the ceremony, ITIDA announced a number of partnerships with international organizations, and shed light on its initiatives and different achievements.
