Qodwa-Tech Ninth Batch Training Concludes

The Central Department for Community Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has concluded the online training of the ninth batch of female entrepreneurs on social media marketing skills, as part of the ongoing activities of Qodwa-Tech initiative for women’s empowerment.

During the closing session, experts shared with the trainees’ expertise and tips on craft project success factors, and how to understand the market, add value to products and define the right target audience. The role of exchanging knowledge and work experience in the craft field, and taking advantage of the available export opportunities were also highlighted during the session.

The closing session is one in a series of free consultancy services provided by Qodwa-Tech, and sponsored by MCIT. The series addresses different entrepreneurship-related topics, including building brands, managing finances, pricing, legalizing projects entities, and e-commerce. The aim is to keep pace with the growing efforts towards adopting technology in all production and marketing stages.

The graduation of Qodwa-Tech’s ninth batch coincides with the first anniversary of the start of online training programs. The batch brings together women with disabilities and cancer survivors, who joined the training program to acquire professional skills in digital marketing, and break into the competitive and export market.
