MCIT Organizes Training Program on e-Content for Kafrelsheikh Uni Female Students

The eLearning Competence Center (ELCC), affiliated to the Central Department for Community Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), started training 30 female students at the Faculty of Specific Education, Kafrelsheikh University, on creating e-content. The training started on April 20 and will continue for a month.

The training program is organized in collaboration with the National Council for Women (NCW) and Kafrelsheikh University, within the framework of the agreement of cooperation between MCIT and Kafr El Sheikh Governorate.

The training aims to qualify and train female university students and graduates on creating e-content, and develop their skills in this field to ease their access to decent job opportunities in e-learning. The training also aims to help faculty members create and manage their own e-content on different platforms.

Founded in 2004 by MCIT, in cooperation with Cisco Systems, ELCC aims to support Egypt’s overall education reform and entrepreneurship development, through the effective use of ICTs, with a special focus on harnessing eLearning technologies and maximizing the potential for collaborative public-private partnerships (PPP).
