Silicon Waha for Technology Parks is hosting the second round of Startup Factory program, which kicks off on July 9, at Borg Al Arab Technology Park.
The program aims at capacitating Egyptian entrepreneurs through sharing expert knowledge and incubating their ideas to start viable startups, all in the context of digital solutions.
Startup Factory consists of a knowledge sharing focused process made up of roundtable discussions with various industry leaders from the local and international business ecosystems to pass on the expertise to participants and provide a realistic overview of the gaps in the industry in regards of digital services. Along with the sessions, the program involves webinars with international and national experts that discuss up to date questions and status of the world business to align entrepreneurs' visions, as well as hands-on experience where participants get to develop digital solutions to the pressing challenges of their local communities.
The program provides all types of support to the selected tech-enabled startups, including technical support and mentorship, as well as providing access to local and international ecosystem partners and supporters in various sectors, in addition to a free-of-charge training program that covers different business aspects to support the growth of startups.
The second round of Startup Factory targets tech-based startup founders in Alexandria or nearby governorates, such as Beheira and Kafr El Sheikh.
