ITIDA Sponsors Egypt Career Summit 2021



Egypt Career Summit 2021 was held on August 13-14, at the Greek Campus, and was sponsored by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) as well as local and international agencies and organizations. The Summit aimed to elevate career awareness and prepare more qualified high demanded calibers.
 
ITIDA participation came as part of its role in supporting and empowering university graduates and newly employed people through highlighting the related initiatives it offers, introducing in-demand skills for ICT-related jobs, and helping young people develop their careers.
 
Through its participation, ITIDA sought to promote its various programs and services, especially those targeting improving freelancing skills in technology-related jobs, and promoting entrepreneurship, as part of ITIDA efforts in supporting youth innovation and business incubation through different programs.
 
Egypt Career Summit is the biggest career development event in Egypt. The event brought together more than 350 professionals, 150 organizations and 1,000 experts, as well as senior managers, directors and CEOs from Fortune 500, to share their knowledge and experience in qualifying and shaping the mindset of younger generations.
 
The event agenda included in-depth workshops and seminars delivered by high-caliber experts and speakers, as well as job orientation sessions and matchmaking activities. The event was also live streamed to ensure access of a large number of audience to the Summit and reach people in different governorates, in line with COVID-19 precautionary measures.
 
ITIDA participated in a number of panel discussions that addressed the digital transformation and its impact on job creation, recruitment changes after Covid-19, and the importance of promoting entrepreneurship and freelancing among Egyptian youth. Moreover, ITIDA participated in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the Summit with a pavilion for presenting its programs and services, as well as with booths for three startups incubated at the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).
