The Institutional Development, Training and Human Capacity Building Sector at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is organizing phase two of the “Digital transformation and its applications” workshop, in collaboration with the Armed Forces’ Information Systems Institute and ICDL Arabia, online, on August 22-25.
The workshop targets qualifying 50 trainees, personnel of government service delivery centers, in addition to about 230 employees at the General Bureaus of Red Sea, Aswan and Marsa Matrouh Governorates and their outskirts.
The workshop is part of MCIT efforts to improve the quality of public services and build the digital capacities of service providers and employees at the state’s administrative apparatus. In addition, the workshop is within Digital Egypt strategy objectives and MCIT institutional development plan, which aims to help government agencies absorb and maintain digital transformation.
A wide range of topics is covered by the workshop, including cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, social media and digital marketing.
It is worth noting that phase one of the workshop was held from December 24, 2020 to January 13, 2021. The workshop qualified 917 trainees, employees of government service delivery centers.
