NAID Organizes ‘Frontiers of Additive Manufacturing, Assistive Technology’ Webinar


The National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities (NAID) is organizing a webinar titled “Frontiers of Additive Manufacturing and Assistive Technology” on October 10. The Webinar is one in a series of activities organized as part of the awareness program on assistive technology, launched by NAID to support and empower PwDs, under the theme “Ideas by exceptional abilities.”
 
The Webinar will demonstrate the key aspects of additive manufacturing technologies and discuss some of its most important uses for humanity in general and for persons with disabilities (PwDs) in particular. Models of assistive technologies manufactured using 3D printing will be presented as well.

A group of experts and distinguished speakers are participating in the Webinar. The target audience includes PwDs, caregivers, developers and researchers interested in employing modern technology to empower PwDs.
