Egypt Post Wins Egypt Government Excellence Award



Egypt Post has won Egypt Government Excellence Award in its second edition. The Award is presented by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for the best distinguished unit in providing government services to citizens. The Award is granted to the entities that achieve the highest scores in providing services to citizens.
 
Ten post offices at the level of the Republic qualified for the finals, including Ashmoun Post Office, Alexandria Post Office, Basyoun Post Office, Attarin Post Office, Qalin Post Office, Qaha Post Office, Al-Aigezy Post Office, Qena Post Office, El Dalgamon Post Office and Nasr Al Nuba Post Office. Three post offices have won the first three places, where Al-Aigezy Post Office of Gharbia Governorate won the first place; Basyoun Post Office of Gharbia Governorate won the second; and Qaha Post Office of Qalyubia Governorate won the third.

The awards were handed over to the winners by the Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and the Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said, in the presence of UAE- Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future and with the participation of a number of ministers and governors.
 
Egypt Post’s winning of this Award comes as a continuation of the series of successes it has achieved at all levels during the past period. It represents a clear embodiment of the achievements made on the ground in developing services provided to citizens, whether government, financial or postal services, in addition to implementing financial inclusion and digital transformation, through all work procedures and infrastructure development. This contributed to providing all services to citizens in a decent and an efficient manner.
