The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) organized an event titled “Challenges and Opportunities,” on November 17-18, at NTI branch in CREATIVA Innovation Hub in Mansoura University.
The event featured a lecture on the opportunities available in the ICT labor market, explaining how to overcome various challenges by honing young people’s skills with international certifications from major tech companies. The lecture also reviewed the opportunities that NTI offers through Digital Egypt Youth (DEY) initiative and the summer training program for university students, as well as the importance of upskilling and qualifying youth to find decent job opportunities.
Around 350 students as well as representatives from Cisco, VMware, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and professors of computers and information from Mansoura University attended the event.
During the event, NTI invited the representatives of the international companies to talk about the opportunities available in the ICT sector and how to benefit from NTI training programs. The meeting concluded with an open discussion with the representatives.
It is worth noting that NTI serves as a regional academy for several tech giants, including Red Hat, VMware, Cisco, Amazon, Huawei, and Microsoft. NTI also supervises those companies’ academies in different Egyptian universities.
