Egypt Post Partakes in WYF, Issues High-Tech Stamps
Egypt Post is participating in the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF), held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, on January 10-13, in Sharm El Sheikh. Egypt Post has issued a set of high-tech commemorative postage stamps to commemorate this momentous event.
Moreover, Egypt Post has allocated two post vehicles and one of the newly-launched postal kiosks “POSTXPRS” to render Egypt Post services to attendees and guests at the Forum. The services provided include: international shipping worldwide, a service that is provided at high quality and affordable prices; UGotBox service for consolidated shopping from the U.S.; Yalla Card and Super App; and Win loyalty program.
Egypt Post took the initiative to issue a commemorative stamp bearing WYF logo given the Forum’s paramount significance at different levels. The Forum reflects Egypt's leadership and ability to communicate with various peoples of the world.
Each stamp in the set features a QR Code, which, when scanned, enables holders to obtain information in Arabic, English and French on the stamp and the occasion on which it was issued, as the Code is linked to Egypt Stamps website,
http://stamps.egyptpost.org/
. This step is part of Egypt Post’s comprehensive development plan, which is aimed at achieving digital transformation in different departments, sectors, and services.
The set consists of five stamps, each for EGP 5. The stamps were created using multicolor offset printing and anti-counterfeiting technology.
