ITIDA Announces New Round of Graduation Projects Support Program

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is accepting applications for the 17th round of the Graduation Projects Support program, one of the Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC) programs, aiming to support university students and spur innovation.

The program targets final-year students at the faculties of engineering, computer science, and information systems at Egyptian universities and institutes; with graduation projects in ICT fields. A group of experts will evaluate the submitted projects and select the best of them to receive fund of up to EGP 10,000 per project.

ITAC comprises three programs for researchers and companies as well as two programs targeting university students; including the Graduation Projects Support program, which funds graduation projects, enabling students to better innovate and develop products based on research and industrial developments. The program also helps IT companies propose research areas to cater to market and industry needs.

ITIDA, through the previous rounds of the program, managed to support 1,230 projects across 33 universities in Egypt.

The ITAC initiative aims to boost the Egyptian IT Industry by boosting collaboration between industry and academia to help develop innovative products, thus positioning Egyptian companies at the forefront of the local and global IT markets.
