ITIDA Organizes Round II of T Preneurs

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is organizing the second round of the Technological Entrepreneurship Program “T Preneurs,” on February 6-20 at CREATIVA Innovation Hub in Aswan University.

The program focuses on mobile application development and entrepreneurship and aims to train students to study today’s challenges and develop a technological idea that they can turn into successful small business.

T Preneurs will provide an introduction to technology, including an introduction to mobile development and Android Operating System (OS). It will also include an “entrepreneurship camp” that will tackle several topics, including design thinking, developing solutions to today’s challenges using mobile applications, Business Model Canvas (BMC), market research, how to develop a complete marketing plan, methods for making short-term and long-term plans, and how to draw up a budget, in addition to a training session on time management and how to prepare a PowerPoint presentation for projects.

Moreover, the program will provide students the opportunity to participate in a “technology camp” to learn mobile application development using different techniques and mechanisms, and will also include an “advanced entrepreneurship training” where students will learn to prepare complete financial and business plans for projects.

Established in 2010, TIEC aims to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the local industry to ensure that both individuals and businesses benefit from ICTs.
