Egypt Post, Misr Petroleum Sign Cooperation Protocol

Egypt Post has signed a cooperation protocol with Misr Petroleum to enable electronic payment and notification services to the company’s clients through post offices.

The protocol reflects Egypt Post’s interest in establishing strategic relations with petroleum companies in Egypt since Misr Petroleum is one of the leading companies in the Egyptian market.

The cooperation will enable Misr Petroleum's clients to pay their dues through 4,200 post offices, in addition to postal vehicles and kiosks, through the electronic collection and notification service. The service helps record the amounts paid electronically and keeps the company updated with all the details of the payments made through post offices as they occur. Payments are sorted based on petroleum products.

The service is, also, linked to Misr Petroleum's internal system, enabling the company to be instantaneously notified of all the payments made and to have the necessary reports when needed.

The protocol is part of Egypt Post’s efforts to develop its services and introduce new ones to cater to the needs of all segments of society. The protocol, also, reflects Egypt Post's keenness to cooperate with different ministries, agencies, institutions, and companies to improve the quality of services rendered to citizens.
