The E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC), affiliated with the Central Department for Digital Community Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCIT), has held an awareness session on the use of IT tools in education.
The session came as one of the e-learning activities organized within the framework of the education clause of the agreement between MCIT and Aswan Governorate.
The aim of the session was to raise awareness of the importance of e-learning, its uses, and related jobs. Teachers, EdTech experts and e-content development specialists participated in the session.
ELCC was founded in 2004, in collaboration between MCIT and Cisco Systems. The Center aims to support Egypt’s overall education reform through promoting the effective use of ICT, with a special focus on harnessing e-learning technologies and maximizing the potential for collaborative public-private partnerships (PPP).
