The Information Technology Institute (ITI) has hosted the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC) team responsible for organizing the Team Formation contest, at CREATIVA Innovation Hub in Minya Governorate.
The Team Formation contest prepares and equips the teams that will represent Minya University at ECPC. As a full simulation of ECPC, the contest assesses the level and abilities of contestants, helping them form teams of coequal members and qualifying them to compete in ECPC.
ECPC is held annually in Alexandria. The competition helps develop the students' abilities in following systematic approaches to problem-solving and using computer algorithms to tackle industrial problems by writing a program in the best and fastest way possible. ECPC allows participants to work in teams to solve the largest number of problems in the least amount of time, using a computer.
ITI is one of the training entities affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The Institute develops youth capabilities and skills through a diversified set of capacity-building programs and professional advanced coaching.
