ITIDA Holds Egypt FWD Employment Fair

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is organizing Egypt FWD Employment Fair within the framework of the Future Work is Digital (FWD) initiative, on July 18. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

FWD Employment Fair is a golden opportunity for technology companies working in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and offshoring business, that are on the hunt for exceptional tech talent, to find the right candidates to serve their clients overseas. On the other hand, graduates of the initiative, who possess the right skill set, have the chance to land decent jobs in different technology specializations.

FWD is a free initiative that targets training 100,000 young people on future skills and jobs. The initiative features in-depth courses in advanced IT fields such as web applications, data science, and digital marketing, delivered in collaboration with major tech companies and leading Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platforms.

ITIDA launched FWD as part of its plan to reinforce Egypt’s position on the global ICT map and boost the country’s digital exports of ICT services and products. The initiative is also aimed at creating a wide range of job opportunities for young Egyptians through qualifying them to master freelance digital jobs.

Companies can apply to participate in the Employment Fair from here.
