ITI Welcomes 600 Trainees to IoT Lab


The Information Technology Institute (ITI) has welcomed nearly 600 trainees from different parts of the country to its Internet of Things (IoT) Lab, as part of the Summer Camps program.
 
The Lab offers a variety of training courses in IoT technologies. Young people from Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Sharqia, Damietta, Kafr El-Sheikh, Minya, Dakahlia, Menoufia, Qena, Aswan, and Sohag join the courses.
 
ITI established the IoT Lab to support the training programs where young Egyptians and start-ups develop applications in different fields, most notably smart cities and universities, as well as applications that serve the health, education, transportation, energy, water, and environment sectors.
 
The IoT Lab is part of the hands-on training efforts of the Institute’s IoT academy, which offers Professional Training Programs such as the Nine-Month Scholarship, as well as Intensive Training Programs.
 
The academy also offers in-depth and unique online training courses on Mahara-Tech platform. Courses include Introduction to IoT – IoT Value Chain, and IoT Applications Development Using Master of Things Platform.
