MCIT Opens Registration for 6th Batch of ‘Wazeefa Tech’

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is accepting applications for the sixth batch of “Wazeefa Tech” initiative.

Launched by MCIT, Wazeefa Tech is aimed at qualifying fresh graduates and creating job opportunities in the ICT disciplines. Trainees will only pay the cost of the training after being employed, as Nasser Social Bank (NSB) will cover the cost at zero interest loan.

Applicants must be graduates of the faculties of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources (HR) specializations), Business Information Systems (BIS), Business Informatics, or holders of an equivalent degree. The call for applications is open for fresh graduates (Classes of 2018-2022). Applicants must also pass all admission tests and interviews. Furthermore, English language proficiency is required.

Training will include several tracks to let trainees learn how to use enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and explore the general concepts of ERPs. Trainees can select a technology specialization, including Oracle Application Developer, Oracle Cloud Financial Consultant, Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Consultant, and others.

The initiative is based on the “Income Share Agreement” model. Wazeefa Tech is built on “Learn First, Pay Later.” The program ends with a job opportunity; interns will be hired with good salaries after the successful completion of the three-month training program.

The deadline for application is September 30. For more information and to register for the initiative, kindly click here.
