The National Network for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Services (Taheel) has participated in a training workshop co-organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Nasser Higher Military Academy. The workshop has been held within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between Taheel and the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Targeting people of determination, the workshop introduced the services and benefits that Taheel provides through its e-portal. The Network facilitates access to a wide range of training and employment services offered by disability organizations, helping PwDs land decent jobs, find accessible training opportunities that meet their needs, and start their careers.
Participants of the workshop learnt how to create accounts on the e-portal and look for suitable jobs and services offered by companies, employers, and recruitment agencies.
Taheel is a joint project launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The Network has been created as part of the government-led efforts to empower, engage and include people with special needs in the job marketplace using ICT.
