Techne Summit is held on November 5-8, at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and the Digital Economy and Technology General Division (DETGD) of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC).
Techne Summit, an international multi-industry-focused investment and entrepreneurship event, aims to impact multiple sectors and stakeholders of the startup communities in the Mediterranean region through showcasing different technologies and their applications in each industry.
The Summit attracts 21,000+ attendees, 800+ startups, 180 investors, and 300 speakers from 70 countries worldwide. It is carried out through a hybrid model.
Participating companies showcase their most recent products and speakers review their most innovative ideas, while attendees discover state-of-the-art advancements and exchange experiences with global experts.
The agenda of the Summit involves several workshops ranging from beginner to intermediate levels, most notably product optimization for growth, the Internet of Things (IoT)-the Holistic approach, blockchain technology in FinTech era, supply chain fundamentals, roadmap to business startup success, and others.
A large number of officials, investors, entrepreneurs, experts in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, venture capital firms, government and private agencies, technology incubators, and business accelerators participate in the Summit.
