The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is organizing a new round of the InnovEgypt capacity-building program, on November 19-23, within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2022.
The new round targets faculty staff, Classes of 2013-2022. The program is carried out through a hybrid model, including an on-site training at CREATIVA Innovation Hub in Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace in Cairo on November 19, from 9:45 AM to 5:00 PM, and an online training from Sunday to Wednesday, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
InnovEgypt has been designed to help university students and graduates acquire innovation and entrepreneurship skills. The program targets undergraduates majoring in ICTs, and young people who aspire to be future entrepreneurs, either by establishing start-ups or developing skills required by local and multinational companies. The program consists of three modules: training in Innovation and Technology Management, the Ideation Camp, and the Entrepreneurship 101 course.
It is worth noting that GEW is a worldwide initiative aimed at introducing young people to entrepreneurship and empowering nascent entrepreneurs to start and scale their own businesses. GEW 2022 is celebrated on November 14-20; it involves a wide array of activities and capacity-building programs that bring youth together with experts, policy makers and investors.
