The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat has held a meeting with the Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Esmat to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two ministries in digital transformation.
The meeting was attended by Deputy ICT Minister for Infrastructure Raafat Hindy and several officials from the two ministries.
The two sides reviewed the developments of the digital transformation project for the companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector. They also discussed the implementation status of the work system automation project in the Ministry of Public Business Sector, within the framework of moving to the New Administrative Capital.
During the meeting, the ICT Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is ready to provide support for completing the digital transformation project for the companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector, in light of MCIT keenness to cooperate with different state sectors to build Digital Egypt.
Talaat also commended the constructive and continuous cooperation between the two ministries to help the Ministry of Public Business Sector develop its technological infrastructure, as part of the efforts made to move the government to the New Administrative Capital.
For his part, Esmat stated that the Ministry of Public Business Sector is keen on achieving digital transformation and automating the work systems in the affiliated companies, using the latest IT tools and following international standards. He added that the Ministry has been upgrading and developing the infrastructure and training employees to use modern technologies and digital work systems to improve performance, raise efficiency and enable a faster and better flow of data within the framework of the state’s plan to achieve digital transformation.
