The Egyptian African Telecom Regulatory Training Center (EG-ATRC) of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) is organizing its fourth training program in the field of telecommunications regulation. The program is joined by participants from 13 Arab and African countries.
EG-ATRC programs are organized within the framework of NTRA plan for developing human resources in the field of telecommunications regulation and enabling the exchange of expertise and technical and business practices among telecom regulators in Africa. Additionally, the programs complement the national efforts of strengthening ties with brotherly African countries.
Topics on the program agenda include radio spectrum management and monitoring, type approval, telecommunications services licensing, among others. African experts, through the training, can exchange views and learn from Egypt's experience in telecom regulation through ongoing communication.
EG-ATRC is Africa’s first telecom regulation-focused training center. It facilitates the exchange of expertise in telecommunications among African countries.
The center aims to create a unified vision among telecom regulators and authorities in Africa through an in-depth training model that brings together academic and professional Egyptian experts to help build a promising digital economy.
NTRA, through EG-ATRC, targets training 150 specialists every year through advanced courses designed and delivered by international experts.
