Egypt Wins AAPAM Innovative Management Award


Egypt, represented by Egypt Post, has won the Innovative Management Award by the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM) for “Win” customer loyalty program and Yalla Super App.
 
The announcement came during AAPAM 41st Roundtable Conference, held on December 6-9 in Cape Town, South Africa, under the theme “Africa's Renewal in the Era of Sustainable Development: Shared Responsibility for Strengthening Institutions”. Ministers from Egypt, South Africa and Kenya, as well as academics and experts in public administration, participated in the Conference.
 
Winning the prize was the culmination of Egypt Post’s achievements and efforts in following international standards, adopting financial inclusion and digital transformation in different operations, and introducing digital channels to facilitate people’s access to services.
 
The Innovative Management Award is aimed at recognizing organizational achievement. It is presented to ministries, government agencies and civil society organizations in Africa, that managed to adopt an innovation and creativity approach in providing public services to help attain sustainable development. Entries are judged by a jury on five categories: Innovation, Relevance, Significance, Sustainability and Replication.
 
AAPAM Roundtable Conference aims to promote creativity and innovation within the public sectors and highlight the best practices and innovative solutions to overcome administrative hurdles and obstacles. The Conference provides a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences in service delivery innovation.
