ITIDA to Support Six Innovative Start-ups to Participate in G20-DIA

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) launches a call to select six promising start-ups to participate in the G20 Digital Innovation Alliance (G20-DIA) program.

G20-DIA is launched by the Indian Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) as an initiative under the G20 Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG). The program seeks to engage the startup ecosystem stakeholders from G20 Member States and invited guest countries.

The program will engage, showcase, connect, and celebrate start-ups developing tech-enabled solutions for strengthening economies and uplifting humanity. It includes a virtual acceleration program for participating startups, from June to August, and it will culminate in a three-day summit, on August 16-18, in Bangalore, on the sidelines of the DEWG meeting.

At the three-day event, innovators will get a chance to pitch their solutions to a jury, with members from academia, corporates, mentors, ministries, and investors recognized under each theme. The top three digital innovations in each category will be selected and honored.

As part of the virtual acceleration program and the summit, start-ups will have the opportunity to network with each other, showcase their innovations, pitch to investors, seek partnerships with corporates, and understand opportunities to scale globally.

The program targets start-ups operating in the education, agriculture, food security, finance, health, secured digital infrastructure, and circular economy sectors.
