ITIDA Offers Two ‘Student Summer Training’ Programs

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is organizing two Student Summer Training programs, in partnership with the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and ICT companies.

Student Summer Training is one of the Human Capital Development Programs (HCDP) offered by ITIDA. The program provides practical training on the latest technology trends for first, second, and third-year students at the faculties of computers and information, and engineering. The aim is to build the students’ technical and soft skills, prepare them for the IT labor market after graduation, and bridge the gap between universities and the labor market’s requirements.

The first program is carried out in collaboration with NTI. It involves technical training in line with the requirements of the labor market and international exams. The training is available for students in all governorates, and it is delivered through a hybrid model, including online sessions and on-site lectures in different premises.

The second program is organized in partnership with Systel Telecom through its CSR program. The training covers communications, computer engineering, and computer science disciplines. Each program lasts for 120 training hours: 90 hours of technical skills and 30 hours of soft skills.
