ITIDA, 500 Global Team up on ‘BAM Egypt’

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and 500 Global have joined forces to launch Bootcamp for Accelerator Managers: Egypt (BAM Egypt).

BAM Egypt is a bespoke program aimed at upskilling accelerators and incubators in Egypt. The program builds on ITIDA expertise and 500 Global’s track record of running 85+ accelerator programs around the world. It is tailored to train accelerators and incubators and help them learn from the challenges faced.

The program will take place on October 15-19 at Creativa Innovation Hub - Giza. It features curated lessons and best practices from accelerators, including attracting quality deal flow, finding experienced mentors, and designing valuable curricula.

ITIDA was established in 2004 with the aim of spearheading the development of Egypt’s ICT industry to improve its global competitiveness, helping stimulate economic growth and create more job opportunities. The Agency strives to boost Egypt’s competitiveness in the ICT global map by developing the BPO/ITO industry, increasing digital exports, and attracting FDI.

500 Global is a venture capital firm that invests in founders building fast-growing tech companies. It focuses on markets where technology, innovation, and capital can unlock long-term value and drive economic growth.
