TIEC Organizes TIEC-IA 2023

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has organized TIEC Innovation Ambassadors (TIEC-IA) 2023, at Creativa Innovation Hub in Giza.

TIEC-IA 2023 delved into introducing TIEC programs, such as InnovEgypt Industry and Start IT Incubation Program, among others, and how to implement them in different governorates. It also addressed the function of Creativa innovation Hubs established in 13 governorates nationwide as well as Egypt Makes Electronics (EME) Innovation Hubs (EME IHs) in New Assiut and Borg El-Arab technology parks.

Around 200 Innovation Ambassadors from 25 governorates nationwide attended TIEC-IA 2023. Moreover, several outstanding volunteer ambassadors from different governorates were also honored in recognition of their distinguished efforts.

TIEC-IA initiative was developed in the quest of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of TIEC programs and services offered to university students and graduates nationwide. Furthermore, the Innovation ambassador acts as a liaison between TIEC and youth and seeks to transfer experiences, recommendations, and opinions.

Established in 2010, TIEC aims to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the local ICT industry through building the capacity of enterprises and individuals, providing innovation assessment and certification services, and participating in national innovation initiatives.
