NTI, Sprints Team up on ‘Wazeefa Tech’

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and Sprints have signed a cooperation protocol on implementing Wazeefa Tech, with the aim to train fresh graduates, enhance their employability, and qualify young people to become specialists in ICT fields.

The partnership is within the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), aimed at building digital capacity, honing skills, adding value, and empowering young Egyptians to land ICT jobs.

Wazeefa Tech is offered by MCIT to qualify fresh graduates for the IT job marketplace. The initiative is carried out by NTI and the Information Technology Institute (ITI), in collaboration with Nasser Social Bank (NSB). Through the initiative, specialized IT jobs in local and global companies are offered to young graduates. Participants in Wazeefa Tech receive professional training in the most in-demand tech fields. Only when employed, participants pay the training fees in long-term zero-interest installments.

Sprints works to bridge the tech talent gap by delivering training programs in different tracks, guaranteeing a top-paying job, and supporting young people’s career growth. Tracks offered include embedded systems, software testing, mobile development, web development, AI, and data science.
