FinTech, Blockchain under Spotlight at SECC Webinar

The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is organizing a webinar titled “FinTech and Blockchain: The Game-Changing Industry and Technology in the Digital Economy” on August 28.

The webinar will introduce FinTech as a game changer in the digital economy and highlight its role in revolutionizing banking and non-banking financial institutions. It will discuss the FinTech opportunities arising in light of the new regulations brought in by the Central Bank of Egypt and the Financial Regulatory Authority.

Moreover, the webinar will investigate the managerial and engineering aspects of the FinTech industry and enterprise blockchain, an emerging technology with the ability to disrupt financial business models.

Established in 2001, SECC is a national ICT organization aiming to bridge the gap between the technologies needed to overcome economic, social, and environmental challenges and the existing technologies. The Center works to boost the software industry in Egypt by improving software engineering practices to achieve a strong presence in the global market.

SECC provides leading technology services that enhance the efficiency of IT companies and improve their internal capabilities. It focuses on setting industry standards and organizes workshops and training courses that enable companies to assimilate and adopt modern technology.
