ITIDA Organizes Webinar on Scalable Scraping

The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is organizing a free webinar titled “From Zero to Infinity: The Evolution of Scalable Scraping,” on September 18.

The webinar will highlight various cloud computing concepts and tools and how to use them as the core building blocks for implementation to achieve an infinitely scalable and serverless scraping solution. It will also showcase how scraping service has evolved as new technologies emerge.

The webinar targets those interested in cloud computing, cloud architecture, serverless architectures, DevOps, data engineering, and data preparation and cleaning.

Web scraping is one of the most efficient ways to extract data or information from a website. This information is collected and then exported into a format that is more useful for the user.

Established in 2001, SECC aims to boost the local software industry by improving software engineering practices to achieve a strong presence in the global market. The Center provides leading technology services that enhance the efficiency of IT companies and improve their internal capabilities. It also organizes workshops and training courses to enable companies to assimilate and implement modern technology.
