Egypt Post, GOEIC Ink MOU to Facilitate Trade, Boost Exports


Egypt Post and the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) have signed a cooperation protocol to facilitate trade, promote Egyptian exports, and overcome export challenges in different industries by taking advantage of Egypt Post’s great capabilities and wide range of services.

Under the protocol, Egypt Post will ship GOEIC parcels to exporters, relying on its logistics services. Shipments will be delivered following high security and safety standards to ensure a faster, high-quality service and the protection of data exchanged between the two sides.

The protocol is part of the national efforts to facilitate trade and increase exports in a way that helps improve the export capabilities of businessmen in Egypt. This is achieved by leveraging Egypt Post’s valuable resources, including a strong infrastructure and vehicle fleet. Egypt Post also owns a huge network of 4,300+ post offices, in addition to postal kiosks, and mobile post offices that deliver all kinds of services to citizens nationwide.
 
The cooperation between Egypt Post and GOEIC represents an exemplary model of collaboration and integration among state institutions for the best interest of citizens. By making the most of the two organizations’ capabilities, the partnership will contribute to trade facilitation and economic growth.
