The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is participating in Digital First Egypt Forum, held on September 26-27, in Cairo. Organized under the theme “Building a Digital Future,” the event is held under the auspices of the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and the American University in Cairo (AUC).
By focusing on the challenges, opportunities, and strategies of digital transformation, the Forum empowers participants to drive innovation and efficiency in Egypt’s digital future. It provides a platform to explore the potential of digital transformation and technology, enables knowledge sharing, highlights best practices, and facilitates collaboration among industry experts, government officials, and entrepreneurs.
The Forum is organized in collaboration with C-level executives and heads of digital transformation sectors, bringing together over 200 delegates, more than 20 speakers and sponsors. It features more than eight panel discussions presented by representatives from several ministries.
Speakers from MCIT, ITIDA, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), Telecom Egypt, Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), IDSC, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health and Population, AUC, among others, will participate in the sessions held on the sideline of the Forum.
The Forum addresses critical advances and pressing challenges in digital transformation. It includes a series of keynote speeches, presentations, and panel discussions, among others.
The panel discussions focus on Egypt’s digital transformation strategy, digital transformation leaders and innovators, data, customer experience, cybersecurity, cloud and data centers, IT offshoring, outsourcing, business centers, and ICT fields.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore cutting-edge products and solutions, engage with industry professionals, gain insights, and forge valuable partnerships in a vibrant environment.
It is worth noting that Egypt is seeking to achieve digital transformation by developing sights on becoming a leading player in the digital economy, leveraging technology to drive economic growth and improve public services, in alignment with achieving the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
