NTI, Koinonia Enterprises Partner up to Launch ‘Koinonia Academy’

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and Koinonia Enterprises have signed a cooperation agreement on launching Koinonia Academy for capacity building and training in ICT. The academy will offer programs in 5G and fiber optic network test and measurement.

Koinonia Academy targets 1,000 trainees annually, aiming to build a skill pool to cater to companies’ needs for qualified personnel. In addition, the academy will provide technical, scientific, and research consultation to meet market requirements at the local, regional, and global levels.

Under the agreement, NTI resources and capabilities, including halls and labs, will be utilized, helping make the academy a regional training center for ICT and network services. The two sides will also collaborate to train trainers and grant professional certificates for trainees from the government and private sectors.

The agreement reflects NTI efforts to keep pace with the advancements in ICT. The collaboration will strengthen the role of NTI as a recognized scientific institute and think tank in the region.

Since its establishment in 1983, NTI has been serving as a leading provider of training and consultancy services in Egypt and the Middle East. The Institute harnesses its resources to provide quality educational and training services. It owns a broad scientific base of national and international research papers and studies by experts in different ICT fields.
