The Information Technology Institute (ITI) concluded its summer camps at its premises in Alexandria, for 1,000 students, in 16 distinct tech tracks. The training aimed to prepare students for the labor market and was divided into 33 training groups.
The training was part of an effort to boost coordination with various colleges and universities and foster future cooperation to serve students in Alexandria.
ITI cooperated with Alexandria University (Faculties of Science, Arts, Commerce, Computers and Data Science, and Engineering), Alamein International University (AIU) (Faculties of Business and Engineering), Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) (Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Program), Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) (Colleges of Engineering and Technology, Computing and Information Technology, and College of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Pharos University (Faculties of Engineering, and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence), and Damanhour University (Faculties of Science, and Computers and Information).
Students were trained in several tracks, including Open-Source Development, Developing iOS and Android applications, cybersecurity, Linux Administration, Java programming, Front-End Development, Machine Learning (ML), Web Development fundamentals, the Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Systems, Embedded Systems with Advanced RISC Machine (ARM), Python Programming, Social Media Marketing, .NET desktop application, and Advanced Front-End Web Development using ReactJS.
ITI, a training arm of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), offers a wide range of capacity-building programs and professional training in technology fields to prepare young people for the IT job market.
