The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is accepting applications for the 19th round of the Graduation Projects Support program, one of the Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC) programs.

The program targets senior-year students at the faculties of engineering, computer science, and information systems at Egyptian universities and institutes, with graduation projects in ICTs.

Furthermore, a group of experts and specialists will evaluate the submitted projects and select the best of them to receive funding of up to EGP 30,000 per project. The Graduation Projects Support program is designed to inspire and support innovative undergraduates, while encouraging and contributing to strengthening the innovative knowledge-based economy and establishing links between industry partners and academia.

Meanwhile, ITIDA has managed to support 1,482 graduation projects across 33 universities, worth EGP 6.85 million, since 2006.

Initiated in 2006, ITAC aims to foster collaboration between industry and academia by bridging the gap between scientific research and market needs, helping serve ICT companies, universities, researchers, and the ICT community, and promoting close cooperation to ensure the achievement of goals.
