NTI, Intercom Enterprises Ink Cooperation Agreement in Hands-on, OJT within ‘Digital Egypt Youth’

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and Intercom Enterprises have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of hands-on and on-the-job training (OJT), within the framework of the Digital Egypt Youth (DEY) and Egypt Makes Electronics (EME) initiatives.
The agreement aims to cooperate in the areas of upskilling and qualifying graduates for the labor market in contemporary ICT specializations and preparing ICT specialists through various training programs. These programs will cover local and global market needs, in the implementation of the Digital Egypt strategy. The cooperation also includes a one-month on-the-job training (OJT) of about 120 hours in the company on the agreed-upon tracks.
Under the agreement, trainees in the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices Track will be able to receive OJT in an Intercom Enterprises project. The track helps build an integrated system for various services within major institutions, such as the banking sector and ministries linked to IBM and OpenText systems, to achieve digital transformation.
The cooperation comes within the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The strategy includes qualifying a talent pool for the local and global labor market through cutting-edge technologies.
Established in 1983, NTI is a leading provider of training and consultancy services in Egypt and the Middle East. The Institute harnesses its resources to provide quality educational and training services. It owns a broad scientific base of national and international research papers and studies by experts in different ICT fields.
