Egypt is organizing a high-level workshop on the 14th of November, 2009 to discuss current trends and prospects in the international sourcing of ICT service in Sharm El Sheikh prior the Internet Governance Forum.
The workshop will be held under the auspices of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and in co-operation with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
This workshop is designed to examine how industry stakeholders have reacted to the economic crisis and how the industry is being re-shaped. The workshop will enable participants to interact, network and share ideas with leaders and practitioners of global MNCs, advisory bodies and international policy makers.
The workshop will bring together 150 international and regional senior delegates from technology companies and government organizations and will provide opportunities to exchange ideas with fellow participants interested and responsible for shaping the future of the global sourcing industry.
The workshop provides an excellent networking opportunity for delegates with senior government officials and business leaders from the Middle East, North Africa and Africa regions to understand how this nascent market is developing and what opportunities it presents.
