Egypt’s trade mission to Canada and the U.S., headed by Minister of CIT Dr. Tarek Kamel, encompassed a high-level Egyptian delegation of over 75 prominent officials and representatives from the Egyptian government, the Canadian-Egyptian Business Council (CEBC), private ICT firms, and the media sector.
The visit aimed at promoting ICT investment opportunities in Egypt and exploring possible bilateral cooperation. The Egyptian delegation held meetings with senior officials from the Canadian and U.S governments, top executives of multinational firms and the Egyptian Expatriate communities.
The mission was the most successful in years, with 11 MoUs inked and more than 1000 new job opportunities created.
