Egypt at OutsourceWorld 2004


In cooperation with MCIT, the Industrial Modernization will be supporting a number of Egyptian ICT companies in OutsourceWorld London, 2004. Jointly, MCIT and IMC are supporting the coordination activities between the organizers, and participants. The event, considered to be Europe’s premier outsourcing event, will take place June 15-17; offering a learning platform for Egyptian companies about the benefits of implementing outsourcing solutions.

Located in an attractive spot in the exhibition, the Egypt representation, 60m2 will house leading IT companies working in the business of outsourcing and seeking advantageous business partnerships.

’Seek the Opportunity…Outsource Egypt’ is the title of Dr. Adel Hamid Abed, Secretary of the Egyptian Information Telecom Electronics Software Alliance- presentation at the Conference. The presentation will highlight Egypt’s growing outsourcing industry while emphasizing its regional role as the IT hub in the Middle East and Africa.

OutsourceWorld is one of the most rapidly expanding series of outsourcing events that currently take place in the markets of London, Dubai, Australia, Russia, India, United States. The event has been designed specifically to offer visitors a comprehensive learning platform about the contemporary issues within the global outsourcing sector. It has been specifically designed to examine the principal issues concerning near-shore and off-shore outsourcing solutions, how they can be successfully implemented to enhance business profitability and optimize service levels; and to address the relevant legal and administrative issues.

Notably, Egypt participated in the 2003 OutsourceWorld in New York, through collaboration and support from the Egyptian Software Association. The participation of Egypt in OutsourceWorld 2004 builds on the success of Egypt mission to the UK also took place this year. The mission yielded to four partnership contracts in the field of IT and e-commerce applications.
