Xceed Selected by IAOP™ Amongst 100 Best Global Service Providers in 2009

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals™ (IAOP™), a global, standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession, has recently selected Egypt's Xceed call center among the annual Global Outsourcing 100™ list for 2009.

The selection was announced during the meeting of Minister of Communications and Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel with IAOP™ Chairman Michael Corbet.

The meeting was attended by Xceed Chairman and CEO Dr. Adel Danish, Telecom Egypt Chairman Eng. Aqil Beshir and Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) CEO Dr. Hazem Abdelazim.

The IAOP™ list identifies the best outsourcing service providers across the globe that have demonstrated their expertise in delivering outstanding business solutions and made significant contributions to the industry through thought leadership.

This ranking is based on four key criteria, namely size and growth, customer references, organizational competencies and management capabilities.

The evaluation process was conducted by a panel of juries comprising key independent outsourcing experts.

Dr. Kamel stated that the IAOP™'s decision to list Xceed among the annual Global Outsourcing 100™ companies in 2009 affirms Egypt’s proceeding on the right track in this domain, targeting a $1.1 bn of business process outsourcing (BPO) exports by 2011. Egypt, Dr. Kamel added, has all the factors enabling it to be on top of the list of competitors in this filed due to its distinguished geographic location and the availability of skillful, multilingual human resources.

The announcement, Dr. Kamel noted, proves the success of the Egyptian BPO companies in competing effectively with global specialized ones. Xceed has already put Egypt's name on the global map among other leading companies in BPO, he added.

IAOP™'s choice of Xceed, according to Dr. Kamel, proves the huge strides Egypt has achieved on the international BPO arena. "It is also an evidence of the country’s success in supporting such a promising, vital sector," he reflected.

On his part, Dr. Danish said that IAOP™'s assessment of Xceed confirms the company's competitiveness on an international level, which conforms to its strategy to become a global, specialized BPO company offering value added services.

The 2009 Global Outsourcing 100™ ranks the world’s best outsourcing service providers to be published in the May issue of Fortune™ magazine, one of the most prominent business magazines worldwide.
