Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel stated that all post offices will open to offer a variety of services to the public as of tomorrow.
 
Dr. Kamel added the social solidarity pensions will be cashed to 1.2 million beneficiaries nationwide also tomorrow from 10.30 am – 1.30 pm through 2120 post offices across Egypt.  
 
According to Dr. Kamel, Egyptian National Post Organization (ENPO) has set a plan to gradually open all 3800 post offices in Egypt by the end of the week.
 
The post offices will provide all financial, postal and social services that they used to offer before the crisis, he said. 
 
Dr. Kamel further confirmed that all saving accounts at Egypt Post have been totally secure against any looting or thefts. 
 
Post offices have started cashing pensions earlier last week through the Egypt Post ATM machines located at the ENPO branches across the country.
