The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Atef Helmy denied the news about the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) postponing the launch of the unified license for a period of 6 months during the meeting held today.
The Minister stresses on the importance of launching the unified license for the ICT sector.
We have already taken the required measurements, like: activating the pricing of the communications services offered by the companies through a global think-tank, he explains.
Mr. Atef Helmy adds that consultations are taking place with Telecom Egypt to discuss its plans to offer high- quality mobile services in the most possible professional way. Finally, he underlines the importance of granting Telecom Egypt the opportunity to provide the full package of communications’ services as soon as possible.
