The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) hosts the Youth Employment Seminar on Sunday May 19, at the Smart Village Convention Center.
The ICT-Trust Fund affiliated with the MCIT has organized the event, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
With the presence of the Minister of ICT, Mr Atef Helmy, the seminar comes as part of the Ministry’s strategy to empower the Egyptian youth and develop the innovation and creativity skills in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship.
The seminar tackles the role of the international contribution with the cooperation of the private sector and the civil society organizations. This is to achieve certain goals, including: the support of small and medium sized projects, social entrepreneurship for youth, the technical and professional training and the youth employment as well.
An exhibition is to take place on the sidelines of the seminar showcasing the Egyptian youth leading ideas and projects part of the program implementation.
The best ideas participating at the Kayanak online shall be rewarded in an attempt to create sustainable opportunities to those youthful ideas; a matter that shall help MCIT achieve its goals to boost the socio- economic development of Egypt based on ICT tools.
