The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Atef Helmy received today Uganda Ambassador to Egypt Richard Laus Angualia on the occasion of assuming his new post in Cairo.

This is in addition to EG-CERT conducting a number of training courses in Kampala, the Ugandan capital, to train specialized calibers on establishing and managing UG-CERT which was inaugurated in March last year.
Moreover, both parties deliberated Ugandan ICT Minister’s expected visit to Egypt in the third quarter of the current year. Future cooperation was also discussed; such as, extending maritime cables from Egypt to Uganda, as well as projects of documenting cultural and natural heritage between both parties.
